Betsy Meynardie

I began as a watercolor artist inspired by the quiet beauty of the Chesapeake Bay and the creatures that call it home. I focused on the textures, colors, and rhythms of the natural world, from marsh grasses and shorebirds to foxes, crabs, and weathered driftwood.

Recently I have begun to explore collage, mixed media and acrylic inks and paints. Using various disciplines allows me to experiment freely while staying grounded in my deep love of nature.

I am blessed to live and work near the Chesapeake Bay and be part of the vibrant community of the Muddy Creek Artist Guild.
